Brian Kreisman, CPA, CA, CA-IFA, CFE, CFF
Welcome to this very special edition of News & Views. We are pleased to be presenting our first newsletter under our new name Crowe BGK LLP, following the rebranding from Bessner Gallay Kreisman LLP.
For those of our readers who are our clients you will still be serviced by the same people in the same manner you have grown accustomed to. Crowe BGK has simply adopted the same look and similar naming as other member firms of Crowe Horwath International. Crowe Horwath is a network of 200 independent accounting and advisory firms operating in over 120 countries around the world. Crowe BGK has been a member of Crowe Horwath since April 2013. While we remain independent, being a member of this network allows Crowe BGK to better serve our Canadian clients doing business or looking for opportunities outside of Canada.
A Glance at our new Brand Signature
The colors and fonts have been retained from our old brand signature and the Pinnacle symbol has been added. A pinnacle is defined as the highest level or degree attainable. It symbolizes our commitment to the pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement. This symbol also has the visual characteristics of an arrow, representing our commitment for swift and responsive service in meeting our clients’ needs. Many perceive that the white space at the bottom of the symbol resembles a mountain that can be interpreted as a landmark of strength and stability. This symbol holds great meaning for Crowe BGK; in simple terms it represents the quality, service and integrity that we strive to achieve every day.
This is an exciting time for all of us at Crowe BGK; however, it is important for me to underline the careful thought and deliberation that went into this decision of change. Many of us in our daily work lives have become accustom to referring to ourselves as BGK. We even introduced it in our brand signature in January 2013. While Bessner Gallay Kreisman is now gone from our legal name and brand signature; the high respect, admiration and appreciation for the contributions of Lawrence Bessner, Ron Gallay and Abbey Kreisman remain unchanged and will live on in the future of our firm. In the preparation for the rebranding we are quickly becoming accustomed to coining ourselves as Crowe BGK and we hope you embrace our new name as we do.
What else changes?
We are very pleased to announce the launch of our new website www.crowebgk.com. In light of the rebranding we took the opportunity to build a completely new website. This product is a result of a lot of work done by our marketing group and many members of our firm who contributed to the content development over the past three months. Our goal with this new website is to provide our visitors with an easier way to learn about what Crowe BGK does, who we are and read pertinent information related to owner managed and privately owned businesses. Additionally, a lot of new content has been added to the Career section to better meet the needs of students pursuing careers in accounting and candidates seeking opportunities at Crowe BGK. We hope you like the fresh look of our new website and find it easy to navigate and informative.
