Blog: Export Marketing Grant

July 1st, 2015

The Quebec government has recently announced financial support for Quebec-based companies that are performing export marketing activities to promote and sell their products outside of the province. The program is called Export Québec and essentially covers expenses relating to travels, trade shows, new sales and marketing (export oriented) hire as well as expenses relating to creating promotional materials and a host of professional/consultant fees performing specific marketing tasks on your behalf.

The grant contributes 30% of eligible marketing expenses, with a fixed rate for travels and trade shows, for up to $100,000 per year per client. Application is on a first-come-first serve basis and should be made prior to the first activity. Most SMEs are admissible but there are certain criteria and conditions to be met in order to receive approvals.
